Currently there are six completed sections to the OSG:
- Silas Lane: a 2-mile loop in the West End of Oneonta
- Mill Race/ Catella Park Trail: a paved path along the Mill Race running along the north border of Neawha Park and continuing around Catella Park’s east and southern borders
- New Island Trails: more than 3 miles of trails on flat terrain by the river in the city of Oneonta
- Van Cleft Bird Sanctuary
- Oneonta Creek Trail
- Roundhouse Trail

The next planned section of the Oneonta Susquehanna Greenway is a two-mile stretch extending eastward from the DEC fishing access site off Rte. 205 (near Silas Lane—illustrated with a red dotted line in the map below) along the river to Main St. It will proceed on city sidewalks to Neahwa Place, connecting to the Mill Race Trail.
